# EXAMPLE: ANTI-HARASSMENT AND BULLYING POLICY

Date: 6 January 2028

Parties: Westmere Analytics Limited and its employees

## 1. Purpose

Westmere prohibits harassment, sexual harassment, victimisation and bullying. The policy applies at work, at client sites, on business travel, at social events and in work-related messaging.

## 2. Scope

It covers employees, workers, contractors, interns, visitors and applicants. Managers must model respectful conduct, complete annual prevention training and intervene when a risk is apparent.

## 3. Responsibilities

Examples include unwanted sexual comments, repeated humiliating jokes, exclusion from a team because of a protected characteristic, aggressive messages and retaliation after a concern is raised.

## 4. Policy-specific rules

A concern may be made to the line manager, People Team, confidential helpline or an independent director. An immediate safety risk should be reported to emergency services and then to People Team.

## 5. Reporting

People Team will acknowledge a report within two working days, offer an impartial investigator, preserve messages and explain confidentiality limits. Investigations use a fair balance-of-probabilities process, with suspension only where necessary.

## 6. Process

The reporter and respondent may give evidence, identify witnesses and be accompanied at a formal meeting where applicable. Findings may lead to mediation, training, a warning or dismissal; knowingly malicious reports are handled separately.

## 7. Review and approval

Harriet Cole owns this policy, reviews it every 12 months and reports anonymised themes to the board. No one is disadvantaged for making a good-faith protected disclosure or requesting an Equality Act 2010 adjustment.
