# CHAIR RENTAL AGREEMENT

Date: 30 September 2029

Parties: Willow & Finch Hair Studio Limited and Naomi Adeyemi

## 1. Parties and purpose

Willow & Finch Hair Studio Limited (Company No. 10223344) licences Naomi Adeyemi the use of Chair 4 at 22 Bridge Street, Leeds LS2 7QJ, from 1 October 2029. Naomi trades as an independent hair stylist, sets her own prices and hours, contracts with her own clients and is not an employee, worker or agent of the studio merely because she rents the chair.

## 2. Scope, price and subject

Naomi pays £175 per week plus VAT every Monday by standing order, including chair, mirror, shared reception, utilities, Wi-Fi and ordinary cleaning. She buys her own products and tools; colour chemicals, specialist treatments and card processing are charged at the published rates. The studio may review rent annually on 60 days' notice and will not take a percentage of Naomi's client revenue.

## 3. Operating duties

Naomi must keep her station hygienic, comply with COSHH, local licensing and health-and-safety requirements, use approved electrical equipment, obtain patch-test consent where required and dispose of sharps or chemical waste safely. She must not offer a treatment outside her competence, and the studio may reasonably refuse an unsafe product or practice without taking over Naomi's client contract.

## 4. Compliance, records and controls

Naomi maintains public liability and treatment-risk insurance of at least £2 million, professional qualifications and any required licence. She is responsible for client consultation, allergy records, receipts, tax, National Insurance and complaints about her services. The studio provides emergency procedures and common-area maintenance but does not guarantee Naomi a particular customer volume.

## 5. Term, ending and remedies

Naomi owns her client list and work product, subject to lawful privacy duties. Each party processes contact data as an independent controller for its own business and must provide a transparent UK GDPR privacy notice. Naomi must not photograph or publish a client without consent, and the studio must not use her client testimonials without permission.

## 6. Liability and reservations

Either party may terminate after the first three months on 28 days' notice; the studio may suspend access immediately for unsafe conduct, non-payment or serious premises breach, followed by a fair opportunity to respond. Naomi removes belongings, pays outstanding rent, returns keys and leaves the chair clean. The licence does not grant exclusive possession or create a tenancy.

## 7. Governing law and signatures

England and Wales law governs. Notices may be delivered by hand, posted or emailed separately to the business contacts and email is effective on recorded delivery. Willow & Finch's director Imogen Shaw and Naomi sign on 30 September 2029, acknowledging consumer, health-and-safety, tax and self-employment advice should be obtained.
