# CHILDMINDER AND CHILDCARE AGREEMENT
Date: 1 September 2029
Parties: Amelia Brooks and Daniel and Leila Ahmed
## 1. Parties and purpose
Amelia Brooks, an Ofsted-registered childminder (registration EY563219), of 27 Rowan Close, Cambridge CB4 2QF, provides care for Yasmin Ahmed, aged three, whose parents Daniel and Leila Ahmed live at 11 Mill Lane, Cambridge CB2 1RX. Amelia's assistant and household members are listed in Schedule 2.
## 2. Scope, price and subject
Care is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 17:30 during term time and school holidays, beginning 9 September 2029. The fee is £68 per full day and £40 per half day, invoiced monthly in arrears; funded-hours eligibility, meals, late collection at £10 per 15 minutes and bank-holiday closures are explained in Schedule 1.
## 3. Operating duties
The first two sessions are settling-in sessions at half price. Amelia follows Yasmin's routine, provides meals agreed with the parents, keeps attendance and accident records, and obtains written permission before outings or photographs. The parents must provide nappies, emergency clothing, accurate contact details and prompt notice of absence.
## 4. Rights, records and compliance
The parents disclose Yasmin's allergy to cashews and her inhaler instructions. Amelia stores medication in its labelled container, records administration and seeks emergency help through 999 when required. Amelia maintains first-aid training, safeguarding training, public-liability insurance and an up-to-date risk assessment.
## 5. Term, ending and remedies
Safeguarding concerns are recorded and referred to the appropriate Local Authority Designated Officer or safeguarding route; confidentiality cannot prevent a lawful safeguarding disclosure. Amelia will not delegate care to an unapproved person. The parents may inspect records about Yasmin and must notify Amelia of court orders or parental-responsibility changes.
## 6. Liability and reservations
Either side may end the arrangement on four weeks' written notice; Amelia may suspend care immediately for a serious welfare risk, persistent non-payment or unsafe collection arrangement, while following her complaints and safeguarding policies. The parents pay for booked care during notice unless Amelia cannot provide it.
## 7. Governing law and signatures
England and Wales law governs. Daniel, Leila and Amelia sign on 1 September 2029 after receiving the policies, fee schedule, registration details and emergency plan. This agreement does not replace Ofsted requirements, statutory safeguarding duties, the Equality Act 2010 or non-excludable consumer rights.
