# COMMERCIAL RENT DISPUTE LETTER

Date: 21 March 2039

Parties: Redwood Design Studio Ltd and Kingsbridge Estates Ltd

## 1. Addressee and account

Redwood Design Studio Ltd responds to Kingsbridge Estates Ltd's demand for £9,600 for the quarter beginning 1 March 2039 at Unit 3, Foundry Yard, Exeter EX2 4LG. Redwood's payment record shows £8,400 transferred on 1 March.

## 2. Agreed variation and chronology

The parties signed a side letter on 14 November 2038. It records a temporary quarterly rent of £8,400 while Kingsbridge completes specified roof repairs. Redwood says the repair condition remained outstanding when the March demand was issued.

## 3. Contractual basis

Redwood relies on the signed side letter read with the lease and asks the landlord to reconcile the demand against those documents. This position is based on the supplied copies and is not an admission about any separate service charge, insurance contribution, interest or other sum.

## 4. Requested remedy and deadline

By 28 March 2039, Kingsbridge should withdraw the £1,200 balance or confirm it as a credit, provide an updated rent statement, and give a date for completing the roof repairs. Redwood will pay any properly evidenced sum that the lease and side letter actually require.

## 5. Evidence and status

Redwood encloses the lease extract, signed side letter, payment confirmation, demand and photographs of the unresolved roof area. It will continue paying undisputed rent, seeks a without-prejudice practical resolution where appropriate, and reserves all contractual remedies.
