# EMPLOYEE ANNUAL BONUS LETTER

Date: 5 January 2039

Parties: Mariner Software Ltd and Oliver Grant

## 1. Parties and award

This letter is issued on 5 January 2039 by Mariner Software Ltd to Oliver Grant. It records a gross award of £6,480 for his work as Senior Developer during the performance year ending 31 December 2038.

## 2. Performance basis

The award follows the company's review of Oliver's delivery of the Atlas release, mentoring of two developers and contribution to the Bristol security-improvement project. Those facts explain the award but do not alter his written job duties.

## 3. Payment and deductions

Mariner will process the £6,480 gross amount with February 2039 payroll. Income tax, National Insurance and any other lawful deduction will be dealt with through payroll; the net amount will therefore be lower than the stated gross award.

## 4. Discretion and conditions

The award is a payment for the identified performance year and does not create an entitlement to a bonus in another year. Payment remains subject to Oliver being employed and not under notice on the payment date, together with the contract and bonus-policy conditions.

## 5. Record and acknowledgement

Oliver should retain this letter with his contract and payslips and raise any factual query with People Operations by 19 January 2039. His signature acknowledges receipt only and does not waive any statutory employment right.
