# EXAMPLE: END OF TENANCY LETTER

Parties: Willowbrook Homes Limited and Marcus Webb
## 1. Important status
To Marcus Webb, 7 Mill Cottages, Exeter EX2 4RJ: Willowbrook Homes Limited confirms the agreed end date of the fixed-term tenancy as 28 February 2029, subject to the signed agreement and any statutory continuation. This letter is a practical coordination letter, not a possession notice.
## 2. Parties and property
Please remove all personal belongings by 10.00 am on 28 February, clean the property to the check-in standard and leave appliances, manuals and fittings in place. A pre-check appointment is offered for 20 February at 3.00 pm.
## 3. Notice or proposal
Return two front-door keys, one gate fob and the parking permit to the agent at 16 Queen Street, Exeter EX4 3LS, or use the sealed key envelope at the property. A missing key or fob replacement may be proposed as an itemised lawful deduction.
## 4. Checks
Send final electricity, gas and water meter readings with photographs on departure, cancel standing orders after the final contractual payment and give a forwarding address. Willowbrook will notify the council and utility providers only for legitimate administration.
## 5. Service and procedure
The £1,425 deposit remains protected with SecureTenancy Deposit Service, reference ST-77210. After inspection and agreement of any evidenced damage beyond fair wear and tear, the parties will request repayment through the scheme; disputes may use its adjudication process.
## 6. Rights and remedies
The tenant remains responsible for rent and obligations until the lawful end, while the landlord remains responsible for repairs and access rights. Neither party may use this letter to waive statutory rights, unlawfully evict or impose an unagreed charge.
