# HARASSMENT REPORT LETTER
Date: 11 January 2031
Parties: Helen Ward and Northmoor Analytics Limited
## 1. Purpose and parties
I report a course of conduct by colleague Mark Ellis that has caused alarm and distress and which I reasonably fear may continue. I ask Northmoor to treat this as a formal harassment and safeguarding concern, without assuming a conclusion before a fair investigation.
## 2. Facts, scope and terms
On 7 December Mark sent three messages calling me a fraud and saying he would wait outside my home. On 14 December he followed me from the Bristol office to the station and photographed me. On 8 January he posted a comment in the team channel referring to my private medical appointment. I did not consent to any contact or publication.
## 3. Process and responsibilities
I told Mark in writing on 7 December to stop, reported the matter to my manager on 15 December and saved the messages. The conduct appears connected and unwanted. I understand the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 requires a course of conduct and that the company must assess facts; this report is not a criminal finding.
## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards
Evidence includes exported messages, screenshots with timestamps, the team-channel record, station CCTV reference, my incident log and names of colleagues who saw the messages. Please preserve relevant access logs and prevent deletion. I can provide a detailed statement privately and will tell HR if I contact the police.
## 5. Review, escalation and outcome
Pending investigation, I request no direct contact, a change to reporting or seating arrangements, a named contact, a safe escort after late work and no retaliation. Please assess risk, confidentiality and reasonable adjustments; do not require me to mediate face-to-face with Mark.
## 6. Reservations and practical protections
Please acknowledge within two working days, appoint an impartial investigator, explain the disciplinary and appeal process and keep me updated without disclosing confidential witness information. I reserve rights under the Equality Act 2010, Protection from Harassment Act 1997, contract and criminal law, and may report an immediate threat to police.
## 7. England and Wales law and completion
England and Wales law applies. I send this report by secure email and hand delivery as separate permitted methods to HR Director Priya Shah on 11 January 2031. Helen Ward signs and requests an accessible response.
