# HOLIDAY SICKNESS CLAIM LETTER
Date: 18 October 2029
Parties: Maya Wilson and Silver Coast Holidays Limited
## 1. People, purpose and legal route
To Silver Coast Holidays Limited, Customer Relations, 42 Harbour Road, London E1 6AA: I, Maya Wilson of 27 Grove Avenue, Nottingham NG3 5PL, write about package holiday booking SC-55210 at Sunbay Resort, Majorca, from 3 to 10 August 2029 for myself and my son.
## 2. Facts, scope and supporting evidence
I developed severe vomiting and diarrhoea on 6 August after eating at the hotel's half-board restaurant. The resort clinic recorded dehydration and prescribed treatment; I missed two excursions and required a flight-assistance arrangement. My son also became unwell on 7 August. We reported the issue to the representative that day.
## 3. Requests, duties and safeguards
Please provide your incident report and investigate food, water, hygiene and supplier records. I enclose clinic notes, receipts, photographs, booking confirmation, witness details and a seven-day symptom diary. I request a reasonable response to both personal injury and consequential out-of-pocket losses, subject to medical evidence and causation.
## 4. Records, review and communication
The booking was a package within the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, but I do not assume every illness is legally attributable to the organiser. Please identify the relevant supplier investigation, insurance details and any proposed medical examination. Any settlement must distinguish my son's claim and protect his interests.
## 5. Time limits, escalation and outcome
Please acknowledge this complaint within 14 days and provide a substantive response within the applicable pre-action timetable. I am willing to use the appropriate ADR or ABTA process if available. I will retain medical records and receipts and will not sign a full and final release before taking advice.
## 6. Reservations and practical protections
This letter is an attempt to resolve the dispute and is not a pleaded claim, admission or waiver. Limitation for personal injury and contractual claims may differ, and correspondence does not necessarily stop time running; I reserve the right to issue proceedings after advice and to notify insurers.
## 7. England and Wales law and signature
Please respond by post to the address above or by email to maya.wilson@example.co.uk; each is a permitted service method. England and Wales law applies subject to any valid package contract provision. Yours faithfully, Maya Wilson.
