# EXAMPLE: HYBRID WORKING POLICY
Date: 3 July 2028
Parties: Moorland Digital Limited and its workforce
## 1. Purpose and scope
Moorland Digital Limited adopts this non-contractual policy for employees and workers in England and Wales from 3 July 2028. It supports a normal pattern of three office days at Leeds and two agreed remote days, subject to the employment contract and business needs.
## 2. Working arrangements
An employee requests a pattern through their manager and People Team. The completed example records Imogen Reed's Tuesday and Thursday home-working days, with Wednesday attendance at the Leeds client studio; approval is reviewed after three months and is not an irrevocable right.
## 3. Safety and equipment
The company supplies an encrypted laptop, monitor and headset. Imogen must use multi-factor authentication, the company VPN and a private workspace, and must not print client data at home or permit another person to use company equipment.
## 4. Reporting and support
Managers assess collaboration, service coverage, performance and Equality Act 2010 adjustments rather than proximity. Imogen remains available from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, attends the monthly planning day and records working time and breaks accurately.
## 5. Data and compliance
The employer and worker share responsibility for a safe workstation. Imogen completes the display-screen assessment, reports an injury or equipment fault promptly and may request an occupational-health assessment or reasonable adjustment without disadvantage.
## 6. Ownership and review
Confidentiality, UK GDPR, information-security and monitoring obligations apply in every location. A lost device is reported to the Service Desk within one hour; Moorland may remotely lock the work container while respecting private content.
## 7. Approval
The People Director Harriet Cole reviews the arrangement on 3 October 2028 and this policy each July. A change or withdrawal follows consultation and reasonable notice where practicable; statutory flexible-working, discrimination and health-and-safety rights remain unaffected.
