# PRODUCT RECALL NOTICE（製品リコール通知）

## 1. 目的と当事者
Ravenscroft Appliances Limitedは、2030年5月1日から9月30日までにEmberHeat EH-220 portable heaterを購入したcustomerへ本noticeを出します。対象はbatch code EH220-05〜EH220-09で、England and Walesのonlineおよびauthorised retailerで販売されたunitです。
## 2. 事実、範囲および条件
testingにより、長時間使用後にrear terminalのwiring faultがoverheatingを起こし得ると判明しました。smokeの報告2件とminor scorch mark 1件がありますが、injuryの報告はありません。対象heaterは直ちにswitch off、unplug、使用停止し、repairを試みないでください。
## 3. 手続と責任
customerはrating labelを撮影し、可能ならproof of purchaseを保管し、ravenscroft.example/recallまたはretailerへserial numberをsubmitします。Ravenscroftはfree returnまたはcollectionを手配し、full refundまたは同等価値のreplacementを提供します。合理的なreturn costを控除しません。
## 4. 証拠、記録および保護措置
retailerはsaleをstopし、stockをquarantineし、recordからpurchaserを特定してnoticeをdisplayします。RavenscroftはOffice for Product Safety and Standardsへnotifyし、求められたrisk assessment、corrective-action plan、incident informationを提出します。これはConsumer Rights Act 2015のrightをreplaceしません。
## 5. review、escalationおよびoutcome
dedicated recall teamは5 working days以内にclaimをacknowledgeし、serial number、remedy choice、collectionをlogします。accessibleなcollectionやheaterを安全に扱えないcustomerはassistanceをrequestできます。personal dataはrecall administrationのためだけに使い、必要期間のみretainします。
## 6. 留保と実務上の保護
指示がない限りheaterをordinary postでreturnせず、safe collectionは0800 555 0147へcontactしてください。refund後もinjuryやproperty damageについて別claimを提起できます。本noticeはprecautionaryであり、特定lossのcauseをadmitしません。
## 7. England and Walesの法と完了
England and Wales lawを適用します。noticeは2030年10月4日にeffectiveとなり、email、retailer display、postをそれぞれ許可されたservice methodとします。RavenscroftのProduct Safety Director Laura Bennettがsignします。
