Dear Elena Marisol Cruz, of 44 Larkspur Avenue, Leeds LS6 3QW,
We are pleased to offer you employment with Brightwell Civic Technologies Limited, whose office is at 16 Wellington Street, Leeds LS1 4DL. The offer is made on the terms below and is subject to the stated conditions and to a full written employment contract containing the terms required by applicable law.
1. Position and start date
You will join as Senior Customer Implementation Manager, reporting to Amir Rahman, Director of Delivery. Your proposed start date is 2 November 2026. Your responsibilities will include planning customer implementations, coordinating internal specialists, maintaining project records, presenting progress reports and improving onboarding processes. The Company may reasonably adjust duties to reflect business needs, provided the adjustment is consistent with your skills and applicable employment law.
Your normal place of work will be the Company's Leeds office at 16 Wellington Street. With prior approval, you may work remotely from a suitable location in the United Kingdom up to three days per week. You may occasionally travel to customers and Company meetings. The Company will consult you about any material permanent change to the workplace and will comply with any mandatory consultation or expense rules.
2. Hours and initial period
Your normal hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, usually between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with an unpaid one-hour lunch break. Customer deadlines may require reasonable additional hours, with rest breaks and overtime treatment provided under the final contract, workplace policy and applicable law. You will not be required to waive a statutory working-time protection.
The first six months will be an introductory review period. During it, your performance, training needs, conduct and suitability will be assessed. The review period does not remove any statutory employment protection. Notice, extension and termination arrangements will be stated in the contract and will comply with mandatory law.
3. Salary and payment
Your gross salary will be £58,500 per year, paid monthly in arrears on the 25th day of each month, subject to lawful deductions. The Company will enrol you in any pension, payroll and social insurance arrangements that apply to your employment and will give the notices required by law. Your salary is reviewed annually, but a review does not guarantee an increase.
You may be considered for a discretionary annual performance award targeted at 8 percent of base salary. It depends on Company performance, individual performance, continued employment and the written incentive rules, and is not guaranteed.
4. Benefits and expenses
Subject to each plan and applicable eligibility rules, you will receive private medical cover, 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, and statutory pension and leave rights. Benefits may be amended where the plan permits, but accrued and mandatory rights remain protected.
The Company will reimburse reasonable business travel and subsistence expenses supported by receipts and submitted within 30 days. Approval is required for a single expense above £250, except in an emergency. Lawful tax deductions and reports will be made.
5. Conditions of offer
This offer is conditional on your right to work in the United Kingdom, satisfactory identity and employment checks, two professional references, and any qualification or background check reasonably required for this role. The Company will process personal information for recruitment, payroll, security and legal compliance in accordance with its privacy notice and applicable data protection law.
You must confirm that accepting the role will not breach a lawful obligation to a former employer and must not bring its confidential information to Brightwell. No condition will be applied unlawfully, and reasonable adjustments will be considered where required.
6. Confidentiality, work product and conduct
During employment you must protect confidential information about customers, security, pricing, staff, systems and planned products. You may use it only for Company work and must return or securely delete it when asked or when employment ends. This obligation does not restrict a protected disclosure, legal advice or another right that applicable law protects.
Work product created in the course of your duties will be treated under the intellectual property terms of the final contract and applicable law. You retain rights in independent materials created before employment, provided they are identified to the Company before you start. You must comply with reasonable policies on security, safeguarding, equality, acceptable technology use and conflicts of interest.
7. Notice and final contract
After any introductory period, the proposed contractual notice is three months from either side, subject to statutory minimums and the final written contract. The Company may place you on lawful garden leave or make payment in lieu where the contract and applicable law allow. Any resignation, dismissal, redundancy or disciplinary process will follow the final contract and mandatory employment protections.
This letter and your signed acceptance record the offer but do not replace the complete employment contract or statutory written statement. A different final contract must be provided for your consideration through a legally effective process. Nothing limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
The proposed employment will be governed by the law applicable to work performed in England and Wales, subject to mandatory employment, tax, immigration and tribunal rules. Local counsel or an employment adviser should confirm the terms before commencement.
