# MODEL RELEASE AGREEMENT

Parties: Northstar Homeware Limited and Lila Morgan
## 1. Purpose and parties
Northstar Homeware Limited, company number 07164290, and Lila Morgan enter this model release on 4 March 2032 for a lifestyle photography and short-video shoot at 22 Mill Lane, Manchester M4 6AB, scheduled for 10 March 2032. Northstar will be the licensee and Lila is the adult model. The commissioned material will show Lila using the Northstar Alder dining range in a domestic setting; it will not record her home address, medical information or private social-media account.
## 2. Facts, scope and terms
Lila grants Northstar a non-exclusive licence to photograph, film and record her image, likeness and voice made during the shoot, and to edit and reproduce the approved material on Northstar's UK website, organic social-media accounts, email newsletters and UK digital advertising. The licence is limited to the United Kingdom and runs from 10 March 2032 until 9 March 2034 inclusive. Northstar may resize, crop, colour-correct and add captions, but may not materially alter Lila's body or voice or present her as endorsing a product she did not use.
## 3. Process and responsibilities
Northstar may not use the material in printed advertising, television or cinema, outdoor advertising, political or adult content, medical claims, or a context reasonably likely to damage Lila's reputation. It may not sell or license the material to a third party, use it to train an artificial-intelligence model, create a synthetic or deepfake representation, or combine it with biometric analysis. The licence is not exclusive, so Lila remains free to work for other businesses, including competing homeware brands, subject to her separate commitments.
## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards
Northstar will pay Lila a gross fee of £750 by 9 April 2032, being 30 days after the shoot date, against her payment details. No royalty or residual payment is due. Where practical, Northstar will credit her as “Lila Morgan” in the relevant online caption, but a missing or technically truncated credit is not a breach if Northstar took reasonable steps. Northstar will provide a private gallery by 12 March 2032, and Lila may identify inaccurate, unsafe or materially misleading images within five business days, by 19 March 2032.
## 5. Review, escalation and outcome
Northstar will not publish a disputed image until it has considered Lila's specific objection, but Lila's approval is not a general editorial veto and does not permit her to reject an accurate approved image merely because she has changed her preference. Lila may withdraw consent to any future or continuing use that relies on consent by written notice. Northstar will stop consent-based processing without undue delay after receiving that notice, except for processing already completed lawfully before withdrawal or processing supported by a separately identified lawful basis. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it, and Northstar will not treat a live campaign as a blanket exception.
## 6. Reservations and practical protections
The images and contact details are personal data. Northstar will process them under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 on the stated consent basis for the licence uses and on contract only where necessary to administer payment. After withdrawal, Northstar will not rely on contract to continue image use; any continuing processing must have a separately identified lawful basis. It will restrict access to its campaign team and processors, retain the release and accounting record for six years after the last payment, and delete unused raw material by 10 September 2032 unless a documented legal or insurance reason requires longer retention. Lila may contact Data Manager Sofia Chen about access, correction or a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office.
## 7. England and Wales law and completion
This completed fictional agreement is dated 4 March 2032 and governed by England and Wales law. Lila confirms she is over 18, understands the territory, media, duration, fee, approval and withdrawal provisions, and has had a chance to obtain advice. Nothing grants Northstar rights beyond the listed uses or waives a non-excludable statutory right. The parties sign counterparts, and Northstar must obtain a fresh written agreement before any materially different use.
