# NEW STARTER INDUCTION CHECKLIST

Date: 2 March 2032

Parties: Maya Patel and Northbridge Analytics Limited

## 1. Purpose and parties

This completed induction checklist records Maya Patel's start with Northbridge Analytics Limited as a Data Operations Coordinator in the Bristol office on 2 March 2032. Her line manager is Thomas Reed, her department is Operations, her payroll reference is NA-2047, and her three-month probation ends on 1 June 2032. Maya confirmed her personal details and emergency contact, and Northbridge explained that only necessary employment information will be retained.

## 2. Facts, scope and terms

Before the start date, Maya accepted the offer on 12 February 2032 and signed the written statement of employment particulars on 16 February. HR checked her British passport on 17 February using the employer's right-to-work procedure, recorded the check and securely stored a copy. Two references were received on 19 February, payroll received her starter declaration and bank details on 20 February, and IT created her account on 26 February. No DBS check was required for this role.

## 3. Process and responsibilities

On the first day, Thomas held a welcome meeting and gave Maya the first-week plan, followed by a tour of the Bristol office, fire exits, assembly point and first-aid arrangements. Maya received the staff handbook and acknowledged the data-protection, acceptable-use, confidentiality, social-media and conflicts-of-interest policies electronically. She completed the health and safety briefing, display-screen equipment self-assessment and secure-password setup, and received laptop asset NB-LT-118 and an access pass.

## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards

Northbridge assigned Olivia Chen as Maya's buddy for the first four weeks. Maya's mandatory training plan is: information security and data protection by 6 March, equality and inclusion by 13 March, fire safety by 16 March, and manual-handling awareness by 16 March because occasional archive-box movement is required. Her role training covers the Atlas case-management system during the first week and quality-control sampling during the second week; no training step authorises her to access customer data beyond her role.

## 5. Review, escalation and outcome

Thomas will hold a week-one check-in on 6 March, a 30-day review on 1 April, and the 60-calendar-day review meeting on 3 May, the next working day after the 1 May milestone. The probation decision meeting is booked for 28 May, before the stated probation end date of 1 June. The objectives are to process 40 accurately coded cases per week by the end of March, maintain at least 98% coding accuracy in April, and escalate suspected data incidents immediately. Reasonable adjustments can be requested from HR without waiting for a review meeting.

## 6. Reservations and practical protections

HR has recorded completion of the right-to-work check, contract, references, payroll setup, equipment issue and policy acknowledgements in Maya's personnel file. Maya must report accidents, unsafe conditions, lost equipment or suspected personal-data breaches promptly to Thomas or the designated security contact. She has been told how to raise a grievance, request support, or ask a question about pay or working time; signing this checklist confirms that the steps were discussed, not that she waives any employment right.

## 7. England and Wales law and completion

Maya and Thomas signed the checklist on 2 March 2032, and HR manager Leila Morgan countersigned it on 3 March 2032. Northbridge will keep the checklist and evidence securely for the applicable employment-record period, restrict access to authorised HR, the manager and compliance staff, and correct an inaccurate record on request. The manager may use it to monitor completion, but may not treat an unchecked box as misconduct without a fair investigation. This is a completed fictional document governed by England and Wales law; it supplements, but does not replace, Maya's contract or statutory protections.
