# NEW STARTER INDUCTION PLAN

Date: 22 April 2029

Parties: Eastmere Analytics Ltd and Imogen Walsh

## 1. Subject and purpose

Eastmere Analytics Ltd (Company No. 13962044) appoints Imogen Walsh as a Marketing Executive from 22 April 2029. Line Manager James Patel will own this induction plan and buddy Sophie Green will provide practical support; the plan supplements rather than replaces Imogen’s employment contract and policies.

## 2. Preparation before start

Before Day 1, HR will receive the signed contract, P45 or starter declaration, bank details and emergency contact. The right-to-work check will be completed and recorded before work begins; Imogen’s consent and privacy information will be handled under the employee privacy notice, not copied into this public worked example.

## 3. First-week activities

Day 1 covers welcome, office tour, fire and evacuation briefing, payroll, contract and policy acknowledgements, laptop handover and MFA. Days 2–3 cover product and customer orientation, brand standards and CRM training. Days 4–5 cover a supervised campaign task, stakeholder introductions and a Friday review with James.

## 4. Training and access controls

IT will provision a BitLocker laptop, Microsoft 365, Teams, VPN, HubSpot with marketing-level access and the marketing SharePoint site. Access is role-based and MFA is mandatory; Imogen must not share credentials or upload customer data to personal cloud storage. HR and IT record completion and remove unnecessary access promptly.

## 5. Objectives and review

By the end of Week 2 Imogen must complete UK GDPR and phishing awareness, equality and anti-harassment, health and safety, anti-bribery and the Code of Conduct modules. By Month 1 she will pass a product knowledge check, meet key teams and draft an approved campaign brief.

## 6. Records and adjustments

The six-month probation has reviews on 22 May, 22 July and 22 October 2029. Objectives are accurate campaign reporting, one supervised launch by Month 3 and independent ownership of a campaign workstream by Month 6. Any extension or concern is documented with reasons; the plan does not remove statutory rights or guarantee probation completion.

## 7. Approval and updates

James, Imogen and HR sign the completion record on 22 April 2029. Reasonable adjustments, accessibility needs and training support may be added confidentially. HR keeps the checklist in the personnel record under its retention policy, and updates the plan when systems, role duties or legal requirements change.
