# EXAMPLE: PART-TIME WORK AGREEMENT
Date: 20 April 2028
Parties: Westmere Analytics Limited and Aisha Khan
## 1. Parties and consideration
Westmere Analytics Limited and Aisha Khan agree to vary Aisha's full-time employment as Product Analyst to 24 hours a week from 1 May 2028. Continuous employment and the original contract continue except as expressly varied.
## 2. Subject matter
Aisha will work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break, reporting to Marcus Bell. Occasional additional hours require agreement and remain subject to working-time limits.
## 3. Operating terms
Annual salary changes from £48,000 to £28,800 gross, paid monthly, with pension contributions and other benefits adjusted proportionately unless a scheme rule requires otherwise. Payroll will issue a written payslip showing deductions.
## 4. Document mechanics
Statutory annual leave is calculated pro rata at 14.4 days plus bank holidays falling on working days, and sickness and family leave rights are unchanged. Aisha must give the normal notice for absence.
## 5. Party obligations
The arrangement includes remote work on Tuesdays using Westmere equipment, core availability from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm and attendance at quarterly planning days. Aisha must record time and protect confidential data.
## 6. Termination and survival
The parties will review workload and service levels on 31 July 2028. A return to full-time work requires a written variation and available role capacity; neither party promises that a full-time vacancy will exist.
## 7. Signatures
This agreement can be ended by a further written agreement or by lawful termination of employment. Confidentiality, intellectual property, accrued pay and data-security duties survive. Signed by Westmere and Aisha: ____________________.
