# PAY RISE REQUEST LETTER

Date: 9 April 2025

Parties: From: Oliver Grant, Senior Account Executive, to: Helen Morris, Managing Director, Northmere Software Ltd, 2 Park Row, York YO1 7LS.

## 1. Request and employment history

Dear Helen, please treat this as a request for a salary review. My current written terms provide £42,000 gross basic salary; I do not seek to change commission, pension or working hours through this letter. I have remained in the role since 6 May 2021.

## 2. Performance evidence

The 2024 CRM report records 14 retained accounts and £620,000 renewed annual contract value against the £560,000 target, a difference of £60,000. My appraisal dated 17 January 2025 rated performance as exceeding expectations, and I trained Maya Lewis and Tom Bell during their first six weeks.

## 3. Market and internal context

The attached 22 March 2025 recruiter summary reports a £45,000–£50,000 range for comparable York senior account roles. I recognise that external comparisons may differ in benefits, responsibilities and sample size, and I have not assumed they determine Northmere's bands or budget.

## 4. Discussion and alternatives

I would welcome a meeting before the 30 April budget meeting. I am open to considering a phased increase, a written review after six months, or another structure if £48,000 from 1 July cannot be considered. No change takes effect unless Northmere confirms it in writing.

## 5. Status and signature

Please acknowledge this letter and let me know a suitable meeting date. The request does not allege discrimination, breach or a guaranteed outcome; I reserve existing rights and will continue my duties. Yours sincerely, Oliver Grant, 9 April 2025. Please verify current pay and equality law before relying on this example.
