# PAYMENT HOLIDAY AGREEMENT
Date: 17 June 2036
Parties: Pine & Coast Catering Ltd and Meridian Equipment Finance Ltd
## 1. Purpose and parties
Meridian agrees to a temporary payment holiday for Pine & Coast Catering Ltd's equipment finance account PF-2046. Instalments due on 1 July, 1 August and 1 September 2036 are deferred, not forgiven, while ordinary interest continues under the finance agreement.
## 2. Facts, scope and terms
The deferred principal of £9,600 will be added to the remaining balance and repaid in six additional monthly instalments of £1,600 from 1 October 2036, subject to the agreed interest calculation. Pine & Coast must maintain insurance and continue complying with the original agreement.
## 3. Process and responsibilities
The parties will review trading information on 15 September and may agree a written variation. No silence, missed communication or partial payment changes the debt or waives enforcement rights; Meridian will not take enforcement action for the deferred instalments while this agreement is observed.
## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards
The parties should retain the relevant contract, notice, invoices, records and correspondence, and restrict access to personal or confidential information to those who need it. The stated amounts and dates are fictional worked-example facts and require checking against source records.
## 5. Review, escalation and outcome
If the issue is not resolved, the parties should identify the appropriate next step, which may include an internal process, mediation, court or regulator. Silence or part performance is not treated as acceptance or waiver.
## 6. Reservations and practical protections
This document is a general fictional example, not individual legal advice and not a guarantee of eligibility, liability or outcome. Where necessary, an independent professional should check the facts and current law.
## 7. England and Wales law and completion
