# PET CARE AND DOG WALKING AGREEMENT
Date: 6 June 2029
Parties: Amelia Ross and Green Paws Care Ltd
## 1. Parties and purpose
Green Paws Care Ltd (Company No. 13690127) of 2 Fern Street, York YO10 3DL will care for Amelia Ross’s dog Bramble and cat Juniper at 5 Willow Close, York YO24 1GA. The regular service runs from 10 June to 30 June 2029 while Amelia travels.
## 2. Scope, price and subject
Green Paws provides one 45-minute solo dog walk on weekdays, a cat visit each evening, feeding, fresh water, medication exactly as instructed and a daily message with photographs. Bramble must remain on lead except in an enclosed area approved by Amelia; Juniper remains indoors.
## 3. Operating duties
Amelia supplies food, harness, medication, veterinary details, emergency contact and two keys. She confirms Bramble’s vaccination and behavioural information is accurate and will disclose bite risk, allergies and escape history. Green Paws stores keys securely, does not copy them and returns them within two days after the service.
## 4. Compliance, records and controls
If an animal is injured, ill, missing or in immediate danger, Green Paws may contact Amelia’s emergency contact and take the animal to York Vets Ltd. Amelia authorises necessary first aid and veterinary treatment up to £500 where delay risks welfare; higher non-urgent treatment requires her consent where practicable. Amelia pays veterinary costs.
## 5. Term, ending and remedies
The fee is £22 per dog walk and £18 per cat visit, invoiced weekly by BACS within seven days. Amelia may cancel a visit with 24 hours’ notice; late cancellations are charged 50% unless illness or emergency makes that unreasonable. Green Paws may substitute a trained carer after telling Amelia.
## 6. Liability and reservations
Each party takes reasonable care. Green Paws maintains £2 million public-liability insurance and complies with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and relevant local requirements; it is not liable for a pre-existing condition or accurate instructions followed, but remains liable for its negligence or deliberate default.
## 7. Governing law and signatures
Either party may terminate on seven days’ written notice, or immediately for a serious welfare or safety concern. English law governs and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Amelia, Green Paws director Nisha Patel and the named keyholder sign on 6 June 2029.
