# PRICE VARIATION NOTICE

Date: 8 March 2038

Parties: Westmoor Fabrication Ltd and CivicBuild Contractors Ltd

## 1. Addressee and subject

To: CivicBuild Contractors Ltd, 7 Meridian Park, Leeds LS10 2AB. Subject: quarterly steel-price variation under clause 7 of the supply agreement dated 1 July 2037. This notice is addressed to CivicBuild's commercial manager and is intended to document the agreed calculation.

## 2. Calculation and basis

The contract price is £410 per tonne and changes quarterly by reference to the agreed published steel index. The January 2038 review is 6.5% above the base index. Applying that percentage to £410 gives £436.65 per tonne, subject to the contract's rounding and invoicing provisions.

## 3. Effective date and request

The revised figure applies to new orders placed on or after 1 April 2038. Please raise any calculation query, with the relevant order number, by 20 March 2038 so that the parties can resolve it before the next ordering cycle. This letter is not a demand for an unagreed charge.

## 4. Existing orders and documents

Orders already accepted before 1 April 2038 remain governed by their individual order terms. Enclosed are Westmoor's calculation sheet and the extract of the agreed index used for the January review. CivicBuild should retain those documents with its purchase records and identify any contrary contractual instruction.

## 5. Status and sign-off

The parties' agreement supplies the commercial mechanism; the notice does not assert that an index adjustment overrides an accepted order or creates a new tax. Westmoor will issue invoices consistently with the contract after addressing notified queries. Yours faithfully, Oliver Grant, Commercial Director, Westmoor Fabrication Ltd.
