# PRODUCT WARRANTY AGREEMENT

Date: 1 August 2030

Parties: EcoGarden Tools Limited and purchasers of EcoGarden Pro products

## 1. Purpose and parties

EcoGarden Tools Limited (Company No. 12774018), 4 Foundry Lane, Sheffield S2 4AA, gives this manufacturer warranty for EcoGarden Pro electric trimmers and drills bought in the United Kingdom. It covers the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable as a commercial promise unless EcoGarden agrees in writing.

## 2. Facts, scope and terms

The warranty lasts 24 months from delivery and covers defects in materials or workmanship arising in normal, intended domestic use. The product model, serial number, purchase date and seller appear on the receipt. A consumer must still inspect and use the manual, guards, charger and battery safely.

## 3. Process and responsibilities

To claim, email support@ecogarden.example with proof of purchase, model and a description or video of the defect. EcoGarden issues a prepaid return label where inspection is reasonable, assesses within five Business Days and aims to repair within 14 Business Days or supply an identical or equivalent replacement.

## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards

If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate or unsuccessful, EcoGarden may offer a price reduction or refund consistent with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Refunds account for lawful use where applicable. Nothing in this warranty removes the short-term right to reject, repair or replacement, final rejection or other statutory consumer remedy.

## 5. Review, escalation and outcome

The warranty excludes fair wear, consumable blades and batteries after expected life, accidental damage, misuse, commercial use, unauthorised modification or repair, incorrect installation, failure to follow the manual, and damage caused by power surge or water outside the specification. EcoGarden must prove exclusions where the law places that burden.

## 6. Reservations and practical protections

The warranty does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or rights that cannot legally be limited. Subject to mandatory law, EcoGarden is not liable for remote consequential loss in a business sale; a consumer may use the statutory remedies and the seller remains responsible under the consumer contract.

## 7. England and Wales law and completion

England and Wales law applies. Claims may be made by email or post as alternative methods, and no small print defeats mandatory consumer protection. EcoGarden's Customer Care Director signs this version on 1 August 2030.
