# EMPLOYEE PROMOTION LETTER
Date: 25 October 2030
Parties: Northmoor Analytics Limited and Daniel Hughes
## 1. Purpose and parties
Northmoor is pleased to confirm Daniel Hughes's promotion from Compliance Analyst to Compliance Manager, Risk and Governance, effective 1 November 2030. Daniel will report to the Head of Compliance and supervise three analysts.
## 2. Facts, scope and terms
His salary will increase from £48,500 to £61,000 per year, paid monthly. He will join the manager bonus scheme with discretionary eligibility up to 10%; this is not a guaranteed payment. The existing pension, holiday and benefits terms continue unless this letter expressly varies them.
## 3. Process and responsibilities
Daniel's new responsibilities include approving monitoring plans, allocating investigations, presenting quarterly risk themes and coaching the team. He must escalate conflicts, suspected wrongdoing and material control failures. The role does not authorise legal advice, regulated financial advice or a change to working hours.
## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards
The promotion is subject to Daniel signing the attached variation to the reporting line and duties. The employment contract otherwise remains unchanged, including notice, confidentiality, intellectual property and disciplinary terms. The job description is a guide and is non-contractual unless incorporated.
## 5. Review, escalation and outcome
Daniel will receive manager training and a review after three months. Performance objectives will be agreed fairly, with reasonable adjustments available. This promotion does not prevent a later lawful restructure or guarantee a particular bonus rating.
## 6. Reservations and practical protections
Daniel may raise a question with HR or use the grievance process; accepting the promotion is not a waiver of statutory equality, holiday, pay or consultation rights. Payroll will apply the new salary from the effective date and will correct any administrative error promptly.
## 7. England and Wales law and completion
England and Wales law applies. This letter is served by hand, post or email as separate permitted methods, and acceptance by signed copy or clear email is requested by 31 October 2030. Priya Shah, HR Director, signs for Northmoor.
