# SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION AGREEMENT

Date: 3 February 2030

Parties: Sunward Energy Solutions Limited and Priya Desai

## 1. Parties and purpose

Sunward Energy Solutions Limited (Company No. 12840119), 15 Enterprise Park, Reading RG2 0AA (Installer), agrees with Priya Desai of 26 Orchard Rise, Reading RG1 6HT (Homeowner) to supply and install a 4.8 kWp rooftop solar PV system and 5.2 kWh battery at 26 Orchard Rise.

## 2. Scope, price and subject

The fixed price is £12,960 including VAT, payable £500 on acceptance, £6,230 after survey and £6,230 on commissioning. The specification states 12 panels, inverter, battery, scaffolding, cabling, monitoring app, removal of packaging and DNO notification. Any roof strengthening or asbestos work requires a separate quote and Priya's approval.

## 3. Operating duties

Sunward will survey the roof, explain forecast generation without guaranteeing savings, arrange competent installation and seek Distribution Network Operator approval where required. It will provide MCS documentation, electrical certificates, commissioning data and export-tariff information; Priya must give access, disclose roof defects and obtain mortgagee or planning consent if needed.

## 4. Rights, records and compliance

Sunward warrants workmanship for five years, panels for 25 years' performance under the manufacturer's terms, inverter for ten years and battery for ten years or its stated cycle limit. It will correct defects within a reasonable time and provide after-care contact details. Priya must not alter the system or use an unapproved installer during warranty work.

## 5. Term, ending and remedies

The installer follows Building Regulations, electrical safety requirements, MCS standards, consumer-protection law and waste rules. It carries £2 million public-liability insurance and protects Priya's personal data under UK GDPR. Equipment remains Sunward's property until paid in full, but risk passes on safe delivery and title then transfers.

## 6. Liability and reservations

Priya has any applicable Consumer Contracts Regulations cancellation right; if she requests installation during that period, she pays only the proportion properly performed before cancellation. Either party may terminate for uncured material breach. Sunward must make good reasonable installation damage, and Priya pays for approved extra work.

## 7. Governing law and signatures

England and Wales law governs and its courts have jurisdiction. Priya and Sunward's director Alex Moore sign on 3 February 2030 after receiving the specification, total price, cancellation information, MCS status and complaints route. No forecast is a guaranteed energy saving or grid-export income.
