# VEHICLE SALE AGREEMENT

Parties: Harriet Cole and Marcus Bell
## 1. Parties and purpose
Harriet Cole of 7 Willow Rise, Reading RG1 6QN (Seller) agrees to sell to Marcus Bell of 41 Kingsley Road, Oxford OX2 7JD (Buyer) a private-use vehicle, and neither party is acting as a motor dealer.
## 2. Money and rights
The vehicle is a 2019 blue Ford Focus Titanium, registration YK19 RZT, VIN WF0HXXWPCXKR48216, mileage 48,620, with an MOT expiring 18 November 2029. The original V5C, two keys and service invoices are included.
## 3. Duties and operation
The price is £9,250 (nine thousand two hundred and fifty pounds). Marcus paid a £500 deposit by bank transfer on 29 March 2029; the balance of £8,750 is payable in cleared funds before collection.
## 4. Consent and management
Harriet warrants that she owns the vehicle, has authority to sell it, and has disclosed that the driver's-door paint has a 12-centimetre scratch and the rear tyre tread is approaching its legal limit. An HPI check dated 2 April 2029 showed no outstanding finance.
## 5. Ending and remedies
The car is sold in a private sale as seen and inspected. Marcus has test-driven it, reviewed the MOT and service history, and accepts its disclosed condition, but this does not protect Harriet from fraud, deliberate misrepresentation or a title defect.
## 6. Legal reservations
Handover will take place at Reading station car park at 10:00 on 6 April 2029. Harriet will complete the new keeper details and notify DVLA; Marcus must insure and tax the vehicle before driving it and will bear post-handover fines and running costs.
## 7. Signatures
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. Each party keeps a signed copy and may seek damages or other lawful relief for breach; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
