# VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

Parties: Harbour Youth Trust and Priya Nair
## 1. Parties and purpose
Harbour Youth Trust of 2 Dock Street, Portsmouth PO1 2AB accepts Priya Nair of 33 Elm Grove, Southsea PO5 1RL as a volunteer youth-work assistant from 8 July 2029. The Trust is a fictional charity and Priya gives time freely.
## 2. Money and rights
Priya will attend Tuesday after-school sessions, help with supervised art activities, set up equipment and record attendance under the direction of the session lead. She may decline a task or shift without penalty and is not promised paid work.
## 3. Duties and operation
Priya must follow the Trust's safeguarding, health and safety, equality, online-safety and confidentiality policies. She must never be alone with a child contrary to the safeguarding procedure, must report concerns immediately and must not photograph participants.
## 4. Consent and management
The Trust will reimburse pre-approved public-transport fares and modest refreshments against receipts, up to £30 per session. These reimbursements are not wages or a stipend; Priya must report any payment relevant to benefits or tax.
## 5. Ending and remedies
Priya will protect confidential information and personal data, return Trust property and consent to the necessary DBS check and safeguarding references. The Trust will process her volunteer records under its privacy notice and provide induction and a named supervisor.
## 6. Legal reservations
The Trust maintains public-liability insurance and will provide suitable equipment, but Priya must take reasonable care and report incidents. Either party may end the arrangement immediately for safeguarding, misconduct or operational reasons, with no entitlement to notice pay.
## 7. Signatures
This document records a voluntary relationship and is not intended to create employment, worker status, partnership or agency; the actual relationship and mandatory law prevail. England and Wales law applies and both parties sign for their records.
