# WILL CODICIL FOR EXECUTOR AND LEGACY CHANGES

## 1. Purpose and parties
I, Eleanor Margaret Price of 18 Rowan Close, Bristol BS7 4QF, make this codicil to my will dated 12 February 2026. I confirm that I am aged 64, understand the nature and effect of this codicil, and have testamentary capacity. I am signing voluntarily, without pressure from either witness or any beneficiary. My solicitor, Westmere Law LLP, holds the original will under reference WMP/ELP/2026/114.
## 2. Facts, scope and terms
I revoke the appointment of my brother Thomas Price as executor in clause 3 of the will. I appoint my daughter, Harriet Louise Price of 6 Meadow Lane, Bath BA1 6JP, as sole executor in his place. If Harriet dies before me or is unwilling or unable to act, the replacement executor is my niece, Olivia Jane Price of 22 The Spinney, Cardiff CF14 7TR. No other appointment or fiduciary power in the will is altered by this codicil.
## 3. Process and responsibilities
I add a specific legacy to clause 5 of my will: my blue 2018 Volvo XC40, registration plate PR18 ELP, together with its two keys, is to pass to my son, Daniel Robert Price of 41 Harbour View, Swansea SA1 5DL, if I own it at my death. Daniel takes the vehicle subject to any finance secured against it and to the ordinary costs of transfer, insurance and collection. If I no longer own it, this gift fails and is not replaced by cash.
## 4. Evidence, records and safeguards
For clarity, this codicil does not change my residuary beneficiaries, charitable gifts, funeral wishes, or the guardian provision in the will. It does not revoke any previous codicil dated 7 June 2028, except to the extent that the appointment of Thomas Price is inconsistent with this codicil. If a provision of this codicil cannot take effect, the remaining provisions and the unaffected will continue as far as legally possible.
## 5. Review, escalation and outcome
I sign this codicil on Monday 15 March 2032 in the simultaneous presence of Samuel Reed of 9 Orchard Rise, Bristol BS5 8LA, and Nadia Cole of 3 Pulteney Road, Bath BA2 4HN. Each witness is independent, is not a beneficiary under my will or this codicil, and is not the spouse or civil partner of a beneficiary. Each witness signs and attests this codicil in my presence and in the presence of the other witness.
## 6. Reservations and practical protections
The signed codicil is to be kept with the original will at Westmere Law LLP, and Harriet is to be told of its existence. The witnesses have not been promised any benefit and will not receive a gift merely because they witness this document. I have read the document, checked the registration plate, executor names and addresses, and understand that a later marriage, divorce, revocation or professionally prepared replacement will may affect its operation.
## 7. England and Wales law and completion
This completed fictional codicil is governed by the law of England and Wales. It is intended to comply with section 9 of the Wills Act 1837: I sign with the intention of giving effect to it, and two witnesses are present at the same time and attest and sign in my presence. Except as expressly changed above, I confirm and republish my will dated 12 February 2026, as previously amended on 7 June 2028, and each signatory retains a signed counterpart.
